Booking system developed using Laravel for the Electronics Section at The University of Manchester.
Example system features:
- Booking of jobs via a walkup system
- Job management features such as receipts, label printing, automatic emails, employee-user discussions,
- Job debt management for recuperating costs after jobs have been finished
- User management which links into a corporate LDAP database along with configurable permissions
- Client panel for clients to see current / past jobs
- Remote unattended kiosks which are monitored via the web application
- Generation of reports and db backups
- Additional security features such as IP auto blocking, logging of critical events etc
