A PCB was designed with custom tin shield to breakout contacts of a prototype Graphene photo-diode. This prototype was designed, manufactured and tested in 5 working days (1 week).
The design had to work from DC to 1 GHz, and support a bias voltage of up to 200 VDC. The PCB improved the accuracy of results from the previous method by over 200 times.
A Pi input filter was added along with output protection to protect expensive pre-amp.
